What are drones?

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones, these are aircrafts directed either by an internal computer system or from the ground by remote control, so no need for a pilot aboard. Modern aircraft can be technically considered VANT.

What are drones used for?

They are known primarily for their military use: surveillance and reconnaissance territory as well as those equipped with explosive devices (bombs and missiles). However, the use of these small aircraft for more everyday tasks has been increasing. The drones equipped with video systems have become tools for journalism and photography at both professional and amateur; fields such as real estate, agriculture and remote aerial surveillance have also made use of drones. They are even used by police departments as auxiliaries in raids, kidnappings and arrests of hostages, fire and other risk.

What is the state proposing?

The proposed legislation:

  1. Legally define what constitutes an unmanned aircraft.
  2. They establish as a criminal offense “criminal use of unmanned aircraft.”
  3. Establish and delimit the use made of such aircraft by the public security authorities

Why is this legislation necessary?

As the use of unmanned aircraft becomes more common, the FAA plans to launch next year regulations for the commercial use of these drones in such airspace. Connecticut and should have a legal framework established at the time that the new rules become law.

While the drones can have many practical uses, both public and private sector, we must consider that our privacy is a priority. Therefore, the proposals laws establish the crime of “criminal use of unmanned aircraft” for activities such as stalking and voyeurism.

Security forces are currently discussing when and how to use the drone tecnology. This new law would says that law enforcement agencies are authorized to use unmanned arcrafts to its full potential, while maintaining security and privacy on the lives of residents of Connecticut, by requiring authorization to use a drone to gather information about a specific individual.

Are there federal laws already in place?

The FAA has established some guidelines and expects to have concrete regulations from September 2015 onwards.

I like to fly remote control planes how does this law affect me as a hobbyist?

The current rules allow radio control fans fly their aircraft in sight and at less than 400 feet high level.

What is the penalty for violating the law?

The unlawful act with a drone -Equipped with weapons- would be considered a class B felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. While condemning crimes such as harassment or voyeurism drone would be considered a class C felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

What about Security?

All our equipment is programed and equipped with predetermined security features from factory. Meaning they count with safe landing, automatic take off and landing, battery level and flight modes that are easy to use by any person without prior flight knowledge. We encourage all our users to fly in wide areas without trees, buildings or people that may jeopardize the integrity of these and the drone.

What requirements must know a pilot to fly an unmanned aircraft

Now at days there is no official requirement for someone to fly a drone. Flying in a clear and open area helps get a better flying experience, as well as following the instructions and / or watching the tutorials and videos published by Droneex in their website.

This is a common bank practice handling credit card transactions to ensure sufficient funds and account authenticity. This authorization will clear (depending on your bank, usually within 48 – 72 hours.) If you need help speeding up the process, you can contact the issuing bank of your credit card.

I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN I ENTER MY SHIPPING AND BILLING ADDRESSES. WHAT?S GOING ON?

If you are receiving an error message, there may be a problem with your credit card information, billing or shipping address. The billing address should match exactly what your bank has on file. It is most likely an issue with your billing zip/postal code. Please review all information closely and look for any typos. Also, try re-formatting the names and addresses in your billing information (this often solves the issue).

MY ORDER WON?T GO THROUGH. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you’re still receiving an error message after reviewing your credit card information, billing and shipping address, make sure you’re using the latest version of your web browser.

I NEED TO CHANGE SOMETHING ON MY ORDER. HOW CAN I DO THAT?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We generally process orders within 1-3 hours, and once our warehouse has processed your order, we will be unable to make any changes.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY?

Any un-opened product can be returned or exchanged for store credit within 10 days of delivery. We offer free returns and easy returns for all customers. Please make sure you include your order number along with contacting info@droneextech.com to schedule the return. Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable. I JUST PLACED MY ORDER. CAN I ADD ANOTHER ITEM TO IT?

Unfortunately we cannot add anything to an existing order. Please place a new order for the new item.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY RETURN?

Once you notify us that you would like a return, we will email you a pre-paid return label within 3-5 business days. Once we have received your package, your refund will be processed within 7 business days. You will be notified via email at the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place.

After we have issued the refund, it will take up to 3 business days for the funds to be placed back on your credit card or Paypal account.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Most orders ship within 2 business days of purchase. Shipping times may vary due to availability of merchandise. Orders are not shipped on the weekends or holidays.

WHERE IS MY ORDER CONFIRMATION?

As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address you entered on your order. If for some reason, you did not receive an email, please check your spam folder and add info@droneextech.com to your safe sender list.

MY ORDER STATUS SAYS ?UNFULFILLED? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

“Unfulfilled” just means that we successfully received your order! Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number and your order status will change to “Fulfilled”.

WHY WAS MY ORDER CANCELED?

If your order was unexpectedly cancelled, chances are that our fraud filter marked your order as fraudulent. If you are certain that that is not true, please order again with a Paypal account. If you do not have Paypal, you can easily sign up at www.Paypal.com

SHIPPING INFORMATION

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Most orders ship within 2 business days of purchase. Shipping times may vary due to availability of merchandise. Orders are not shipped on the weekends or holidays.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY INTERNATIONAL TAXES & DUTIES?

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The general amount for the duties and taxes fee is about 20% of the dollar amount of the merchandise. However, this is just a general guideline and may vary depending on the country to which the order was shipped. You should contact your customs office for specific amounts and percentages.

Droneex cannot control and is not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.

IS THERE A WARRANTY ON DRONEEX MODELS?

Yes, we offer a 12 month manufacturers warranty on the right FUNCTIONALLY of our drones, and products we made, and 1 month on products that we resell. Unfortunately, our warranty does not cover damages that may occur from everyday use or flight. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
